My Trip to California

I spent Monday packing and finishing up errands. I had an overnight flight and arrived in Costa Rica around sunrise. I am going to spend today recovering. I’ll see you all tomorrow.

Sunday my brother, sister and I had to help my dad clean out his garage. He is moving soon. It wasn’t very much fun.

Sunday night I went to see the Lakers with my brother and sister.

We had great seats and it was a good game (except that the Lakers lost in the last few seconds).

We were about 10 rows behind Jack Nicholson.

Unfortunately our transportation back home was not
as comfortable as I would have liked.

It was a big relief to have presented. I enjoyed presenting but was glad to not have the stress any more. I went with my friends to the main strip in Palm Springs for lunch and then a 2.5 hour drive back to my mom’s house.

It is windy near Palm Springs and they take advantage of the power.

Yes, I know I haven’t been writing, but I will fill you all in on the rest of my trip. I got to see some old friends Friday. Sorry, no interesting pictures of that. Saturday I presented. Here is a picture of me setting up. Fortunately I had two friends helping me get everything ready for the presentation.

It was a big room, but unfortunately only about 20 people attended my presentation. They did seem to like it and I got a lot of positive feedback.

I just wanted everyone to know that I arrived safely to Palm Springs. It was a two hour ride. Our hotel is great. We are about to go out and walk the main boulevard and see what’s happening in town. I’m here with my friend Jim who I haven’t seen in a long time. We always have a great time together.

The conference starts tomorrow and I present Saturday.

I got to go to two of my favorite places yesterday. Went to Starbucks for a frappaccino.

Then for dinner my dad, brother & sister went to SuperMex. Yum.

Don’t be jealous.

Hi everyone. I tried to blog in the airport but the WiFi was not working in the new section.

I made it to California with no problems, except that the lady sitting next to me stretched out and kept touching me (unknowingly) with her feet.

It is a bit chilly here, but sunny.

I’m tired, but looking forward to my favorite restaurant tonight. SuperMex!

While you were working on your presentations I was doing this. I just wanted to test it out. During the time I am gone I will do my best to keep you updated on  my trip. If possible I will include pictures also. You all know I will miss you while I’m gone. Be nice to the sub.
